How each company describes itself
Umain

The site says Umain was founded in Stockholm in 2001, lists 130+ designers, engineers, and product thinkers, and names Stockholm, Chicago, Oslo, and London. It is part of Eidra and ISO 27001 certified. Clients shown include Ericsson, HubSpot, Polestar, and Spotify. LinkedIn lists 51–200 employees.
Humbleteam
Every enquiry gets an answer within 24 hours, and a project can start the following week. From there we move quickly: a B2B banking MVP with ING Amsterdam went from zero to a tested product in 5 days.
Our 49 people in Prague and Dubai focus on design, with depth in regulated categories: 56 fintechs shipped, 30+ major banks, 30+ healthtech platforms studied, and a 27-app sports benchmark rerun every 4 weeks. We have shipped 200+ projects since 2017.
Three reasons teams pick us over Umain
Each one is about who you get and how soon.
Speed you can date
Our record is 5 days to a tested B2B banking MVP with ING Amsterdam and 23 days to a user-tested ING small-business prototype. For Logitech, an app, website, and design system reached production in 4 weeks. The usual time from signed brief to a clickable prototype is 2 weeks.
Fintech and health, deeply
Our count is 56 fintechs and 30+ major banks, and 5 YC-backed fintechs keep our designers in their in-house teams. Our healthtech UX research covers 30+ platforms. That means KYC, card states, consent, and device errors are designed from week 1 by people who have done them before.
Senior designers, start to finish
From the first call to the final file, senior designers with 9 years of experience on average do the work. We have won 80+ design awards, 14 of them on Awwwards, and hold 4.9 on Clutch from 35 reviews. Of our clients, 70% return for a second project.

When Umain is the better call
Two cases where a design and engineering consultancy fits better.
You need the app engineered too
Umain lists full-stack, frontend, backend, and mobile engineering in house, and its site says its work is in millions of pockets every day. If one partner should design, build, and scale the app, that is their model.
Security certification is a must
Umain is ISO 27001:2022 certified, as its site states. If your procurement requires that certificate from a delivery partner that touches your code and data, they meet it.

Questions?
Is Humbleteam a good alternative to Umain?
Yes, when you need product design from a senior team that can start soon. We reply within 24 hours, can begin next week, and have shipped 200+ projects since 2017, including 56 fintechs. Umain is a Stockholm-founded consultancy with 130+ designers, engineers, and product thinkers. If you want design and engineering from one partner, their offer covers both.
Humbleteam or Umain: who delivers faster?
We publish dated timelines; Umain’s site stresses speed without stating durations. Ours: a tested banking MVP with ING Amsterdam in 5 days, a user-tested ING small-business prototype by day 23, and Logitech live after 4 weeks. Our briefs reach a first clickable prototype in about 2 weeks, and enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
Which company fits a fintech product?
We do, for the design. Our fintech record is 56 shipped products and 30+ major banks, and 5 YC-backed fintechs work with our design team inside their own. Umain’s client list includes large tech and consumer brands and publishes no fintech count. Ask both to show a failed-KYC state and a dispute flow they designed.
How big is each team, and who does the work?
Umain’s site lists 130+ designers, engineers, and product thinkers across Stockholm, Chicago, Oslo, and London; LinkedIn shows 51–200 employees. Humbleteam has 49 people in Prague and Dubai, and the senior designers you meet first, with 9 years of experience on average, do the work. Ask each who designs your core flows week to week.
How much does each cost, and how soon can we start?
Neither company publishes prices. Product design with us is quoted on the first call as a fixed-price audit, a scoped implementation, or a monthly retainer, and a team can start next week after our reply within 24 hours. Umain’s site offers a contact form for new business and publishes no prices or start times, so ask for both.
