Which London agencies can do enterprise product design and design systems?
Seven agencies with a London studio and published enterprise product or design-system work, compared by case, London base and what to ask before you hire.
Picture a London bank with three apps, a customer portal and an internal admin tool. Each has its own buttons, its own error messages and its own idea of what a card looks like. The team wants the products redesigned and a design system built. It would rather not hire one agency for the screens and another for the components, then find out the two disagree.
Seven agencies besides Humbleteam publish enterprise product or design-system work and list a London studio: Accenture Song, Cyber-Duck, Elsewhen, frog, Method, Momentum Design Lab and ustwo. Their evidence differs: some cases show a system built for a client’s product teams, others a product with a system behind it, and a few show only half of that pair.
Humbleteam publishes this comparison and lists itself first. It is based in London, Prague and Dubai, and its section says what it can show. The other agencies follow in alphabetical order. This is an editorial reading of public pages checked on November 6, 2026, with no paid placements, scores or rankings. Every figure quoted below is the agency’s own. For a wider shortlist of design-system specialists, see our comparison of enterprise design system agencies.
When to choose Humbleteam
Choose Humbleteam when a London team needs a product and its design system designed together against a date, and its own engineers will build the result. The Logitech case covers the booking app, the on-desk screen and the admin console for Logi Dock Flex, with a design system built from a blank page in 4 weeks. The Afternoon case, a UK platform for financial advice firms, covers the web platform, the mobile app and the assistant, with a design system across them.
Humbleteam also designed a B2B corporate banking design system with about 700 components. The client is not named, so that work is shown on request rather than as a public case. Synthesia, the London AI video company, and ING’s small-business banking team (prototypes user-tested in 23 days, listed on the fintech page) are named clients of product work. Humbleteam does not deliver production code, so your engineers or another partner build the coded library.
How we chose the agencies
The seven other agencies had to meet three criteria:
- It publishes enterprise product or design-system work, as a named client case, a client-credited award entry or a client page that says what was designed.
- It is based in London or has a London studio, shown on its own site or in a credited award entry.
- At least one published case shows a design system or shared component library next to interface or product design.
AI answers to this question also name Capgemini Invent, Beyond and GlobalLogic. frog, which is part of Capgemini Invent, and Method, a GlobalLogic company, are included below. Beyond’s current site (bynd.com) describes cloud, data and AI engineering, not product design. If a team you like is missing, ask it for a comparable case and a London contact.
| Agency | Work to inspect | What it shows | London base |
|---|---|---|---|
| Humbleteam | Logitech, Afternoon; the banking system and Synthesia on request | A system built with the product; design specification, not code | London, Prague and Dubai |
| Accenture Song | EDF MyBusiness 2.0, Škoda FLOW | A UK business account tool; a long-running system with governance and tokens | London studio credited on the EDF entry |
| Cyber-Duck | Bank of England, Essentra | Design systems and pattern libraries for content-heavy sites | London headquarters |
| Elsewhen | Founders Bank | Product strategy, brand, design system and embedded delivery for a new bank | London, with offices in Manchester and Dallas |
| frog | British Gas | Design leadership across product teams and a new design system | London studio, Blackfriars |
| Method | McDonald’s, DAZN | A global digital design system; a design system handed to a client’s product team | European headquarters in London |
| Momentum Design Lab | Coalfire, Sifted | Platform redesigns with a revamped design system | London office, Bishopsgate |
| ustwo | iShares, Dojo | A multi-year system for a global investment brand; a first global system for a UK payments company | London studio, Shoreditch |
Accenture Song: very large engagements, system and product together
Accenture Song is Accenture’s creative and digital product group. Its London team is credited on EDF MyBusiness 2.0, an iF Design entry for the account management system that UK business customers of EDF use for their energy. On systems, its Nordics site describes Škoda FLOW, with a governance model, a design-token pipeline between design and development, and a library of over a thousand styles and components across three environments. The Škoda page does not say which Song studio did the work, so ask whether the London team did. It suits a company that wants strategy, design and engineering under one contract, and the scale to match.
Cyber-Duck: pattern libraries for institutions
Cyber-Duck lists UX and digital product design among its services and gives London as its headquarters. Its Bank of England case includes digital guidelines with principles, tone of voice, accessibility values and patterns for the bank’s staff to create consistent content. The Essentra case delivered a pattern library with coded page templates for a components manufacturer’s technical team. The cases are websites and portals more than software products, and the Bank of England page dates from 2018, so ask for a recent product example.
Elsewhen: a bank designed and built from the first screen
Elsewhen has offices in London, Manchester and Dallas. Its Founders Bank case covers a 12-week discovery with product strategy, brand design and technology, ending in a high-fidelity design system and prototype, with an embedded team through implementation. A proof of concept for a small-business finance platform also ended with an implementation-ready design system. Elsewhen now leads its home page with applied AI consultancy, though its product design page is current. Confirm that the design team is still part of the work you would buy.
frog: design leadership inside a large UK business
frog is part of Capgemini Invent and runs a studio in Blackfriars. Its British Gas case describes embedded design leadership, cross-functional product teams and a design system that frog was chosen to lead. The page says adoption of the system was at an early stage, and it dates from 2019. frog suits a company whose problem is how many teams design, not only how the product looks. Ask what has happened to the system since.
Method: product design with engineering behind it
Method, a GlobalLogic company, lists its London studio as its European headquarters. Its McDonald’s case describes a four-year engagement with a global digital design system across touchpoints. For DAZN, it hosted the product team in its London studio and handed over a design system of components, UX guidelines and experience principles. Method also offers engineering, which helps if you want build and design from one partner. Check which of its teams would work on your product.
Momentum Design Lab: platform redesigns with a system inside
Momentum Design Lab is part of HTEC and lists a London office at Bishopsgate. Its Coalfire case redesigned a compliance platform with an interactive prototype and a revamped design system, and its Sifted case did the same for a supply chain platform. Its case pages do not say which office delivered them, so ask who in London would work on your product and whether the system shipped in code.
ustwo: a long-term partner for systems and product
ustwo has a studio in Shoreditch. Its iShares case describes a multi-year system with a Figma design kit, a documentation site and a front-end library. In its Dojo case, a 10-person team embedded for 6 months from September 2023 and built the UK payments company’s first global design system, with semantic tokens and a contribution model. ustwo is a good fit for a London product team that wants a partner to design, build and stay on. Ask who owns the system after handover.
How to choose
Start from what your team cannot do itself.
- If the system must come out of a live product, with designers and engineers at several levels, look at ustwo or frog.
- If one contract must cover design and engineering, compare Accenture Song and Method.
- If the product is a new regulated service and the brand, product and system are all open, read Elsewhen’s Founders Bank case.
- If the work is a content-heavy site or portal with a pattern library, look at Cyber-Duck.
- If a software platform needs a redesign with its system in a single pass, look at Momentum Design Lab.
- If you have engineers and need the product and system designed against a date, look at Humbleteam.
Then give each shortlisted agency the same one-page brief covering two products in your estate that do not share a codebase, such as a customer app and an internal admin tool. Ask five questions:
- Which people designed the product screens and which built the system, and are they the same people?
- Who builds the coded components, and who owns them once you take over?
- How did the client’s product teams adopt the system, and how was that measured?
- Which of these people work from London, and which sessions would be on site?
- Which part of your published case did the client’s own team do?
An answer that stays general is a gap in the evidence. The comparison of enterprise product design agencies at scale covers large engagements beyond London. If you want Humbleteam’s view on the design-system side, its design system service sets out the scope.
